A City Told to Be Quiet
Nova Espera used to be loud — markets, printing presses, street violinists, kids on the shore. Then the screens went up, the curfew came down, and the machines took over the counting of everything: who eats, who speaks, who is allowed to remember.
You are the one the streets whisper about. Not a soldier — a runner in a red-booted, teal-scarfed jacket who keeps getting back up. Cross four districts — the flooded tenements of Ash Borough, the marble towers of Golden Heights, the fenced-off Azure Shore, and the invaded ruins of Starfall District — and turn whispers into a roar.
Every cook, printer, nurse and student you help lights one more window. Knock out the propaganda screens, break the machine-wardens that rule each district — and let the city breathe again.
District One — Ash Borough
